Furniture poverty is a real issue that affects many people in our communities.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel at home, which is why we are starting a furniture bank charity in Victoria.
We want to create a circular economy by diverting goods from our landfill and help people have everything they need to feel comfortable in their homes. With your help, we can make this vision a reality!

The Furniture Sharehouse Society (FSS) exists to serve clients who live and work on unceded Coast Salish Territory*, specifically that of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. (Victoria BC)

Darcie McNeill, B.A. (she/her)
Born and raised in Victoria BC, Darcie founded Furniture Sharehouse with the vision and drive to bring a Furniture Bank Style of Non-Profit Organization to Vancouver Island. Darcie has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Victoria and is certified in Peer Worker Leadership from the BC Centre of Disease Control. Darcie also works as a resident-artist at Substance Drug Checking, where she paints colourful eye catching murals on their windows. She is a dog mom to our adorable mascot, Joey, and enjoys sharing home baked goodies.
